I agree that the evenings have been chilly enough the past few to enjoy a mug of hot chocolate with all these trimmings. Weren't mothers who made hot chocolate from scratch (and usually cookies, too, or at least cinnamon toast) the best?! (I remember the year it snowed on the 2nd of July while my poor children nearly froze to death wearing their summer short sets. We were on our way to the closing program at VBS. It didn't last long, thank goodness.)
