A Cracker Barrel Christmas with Arlene!

Image of Woodland Cardinal Mug from CrackerBarrel.com
My friend Arlene blogs over at Nanaland, and she recently visited a Cracker Barrel where the Christmas goodies were already on display.  Check out the post here:  A Cracker Barrel Christmas.

Our nearest Cracker Barrel (and the only one) here in New Hampshire is quite a distance away, certainly not a trip to take on the spur of the moment.  So I went to their website instead and enjoyed browsing the Christmas section there.  It's not arranged as beautifully as in the store, but the merchandise is all there.  (Arlene's photos, of course, do give the flavor of actually being in the store.)

I was smitten by the Woodland Cardinal Mug at the top of the post, even though I certainly don't need another mug of any sort.  Maybe for decorating?  It would work for fall right through Christmas!

Here are a couple of other neat finds from CrackerBarrel.com:

This sweet Woodland Chickadee Ornament would make a nice gift,

and I also love the  Paper Barn Ornament, a cute variation on a putz house.

I would love to hang either on our own tree.  Both are very reasonably priced.

Thanks to Arlene for the Christmas inspiration from Cracker Barrel!

  1. All of these items are so sweet! I love the cardinal mug! We don't have Cracker Barrel here so I will just enjoy the pictures on the website. Going there now. Thanks for sharing and Happy Autumn, dear Mrs. T!

    Blessings,

  2. I love to go to Cracker Barrel, especially when their Christmas decor is on the floor. I usually buy at least one item each year. I've never thought to look online... good idea!

    1. Yes, looking online gives a good idea of what they have; it's just not arranged in such a lovely way. I love to shop at Cracker Barrel after Christmas. Their porch sales are nice too.

    1. Well, when you put it that way, Lucie, I guess I will have to think seriously about a new Christmas mug! (Or two...)

  4. I LOVE Cracker Barrel - we went almost 2 years without one in Washington so we made it our mission to hit every one we could on our trip across the States. Happy to say there are two very close to us here in Virginia. Their holiday displays are just gorgeous.

    1. Oh, good for you, Pamela! I love that you made it your mission to hit every Cracker Barrel you could on your cross-country move! We do that whenever we travel! One of our daughters used to live in SC so we could stop at many a Cracker Barrel en route to visit them.

Glad you are near two of them now. Yes, the holiday and seasonal displays are so lovely.
