Recently I came upon this Christmas carol book from 1978. Although it's not as artistic as some of the older ones I have, it's still fun and I like how the cover depicts one of those "satin" ball ornaments from the 1970s.
I also think it's neat how the back of the book tells us it was a gift from a local bank.
Back in the day, banks and insurance companies often provided free Christmas carol booklets to their customers. Think of it! Christmas was so universally celebrated in America that these companies felt completely comfortable offering the carol books as gifts.Today I will share a few of the pages from this book, and do the rest next week.
