Thinking about the coming season In the Christmas kitchen

 

Yes, with Christmas just a couple of months away, I'm beginning to give some thought as to what this season will look like in my Christmas kitchen.  

I recently came upon the card which I've scanned and added above.  What a festive room it is! A fire on the hearth, Christmasy touches galore like holly and pine among the hanging baskets, glowing red candles, and a red and green throw tossed over a chair.  There's a Christmas tree in the corner and a bowl of red apples adorns the coffee table.  Wrapped gifts fill every nook and cranny.  I would love to live in a room like this.  

My real life Christmas kitchen is somewhat different but it is always warmly festive and welcoming.   And there are always plenty of Christmas cookies, thanks to Mr. T's annual baking spree!  He recently tried a new recipe for cinnamon crinkle cookies that we both really liked.  Link coming soon to a Christmas blog near you!  We agreed that it needs to be added to the Christmas cookie lineup.  It's that good!

As usual, my plan is to post daily in my Christmas kitchen during December, but we will see how I do between now and then.  I'd dearly love to be here more often if real life allows for that!
