I am posting this on the 24th because it's a cold brew coffee and needs to be started the night before. I've never tried making cold brew coffee, but I've heard many good things about it and so I will be giving this recipe a try tonight.
The only catch to making this in summer may be if I'm unable to find eggnog. I believe Borden's may make a canned eggnog that's available year round -- they used to -- so I will check into that. Otherwise I can just use a little extra cream, some extra spices and a dash of vanilla.
Try this and let me know what you think! Have a wonderful Rudolph Day tomorrow!
Sounds yummy! Blessings,

I hope you enjoy this if you try it, Sue!
DeleteI remember drinking canned eggnog one Christmas when we lived in the tropics and couldn't get the real stuff. Not my favorite beverage in a can!
ReplyDeleteHow intriguing...I’ll check this out!
ReplyDeleteI'm trying it, Vee! Now I just have to remember to get the coffee ready tonight.
ReplyDeleteAnother great recipe! Cold brewed coffee is wonderful. I don't know if eggnog is available at this time of year but it's also nice with a bit of sweetened condensed milk (like a cold brew Vietnamese coffee)
ReplyDeleteMmmmm, that does sound good!
Deletethis I would never have thought of... must be good!
ReplyDeleteI tried it with just spices and cream and liked it, Lucie. Now, in November, eggnog is available here so I should try it again with the real thing!
DeleteThey used to have powdered egg-nog at the Vermont Country Store that was good but haven't seen any.😞
ReplyDeleteOh, that is interesting. I love the Vermont Country Store! They always have things you can't find anywhere else.
