A sweet tiny Christmas card

Recently I have come upon a number of vintage Christmas cards, many of them unused.  This is a particularly sweet little card, only a few inches square.   What an adorable little girl, shoveling snow!  She reminds me a bit of my  2 1/2 year old granddaughter, Arielle.  And it looks as if she is making friends with a little brown bird.

The inside greeting says,
The perfect greeting to accompany this sweet illustration, don't you agree?

Hope you've enjoyed this look at one of my little vintage paper treasures!

  1. That's adorable! Maybe meant to be a gift tag if it's that small?

    1. Pamela, it is just about 4 inches square. A teensy bit less. I believe it to be an actual greeting card, as I do have others in my collection that are that small. It seemed to be a trend back then.

  2. I love the font used for the message of this card. So clean and linear! You find the cutest cards...

    1. The older cards are very creative in their use of fonts. I found this card in the attic at my parents' home, along with some that are even older.

    1. Thanks, Lana! It was very interesting, this was in a bundle of unused cards just stuck in a box of unrelated things in my parents' attic. Think I'll be finding more treasures before I'm done ...
